SPIRITUAL BEGGARS To Support DIO In Japan

April 11, 2005

Sweden's SPIRITUAL BEGGARS have been confirmed as the support band for DIO on their upcoming tour of Japan. Confirmed dates are as follows:

May 27 - Zepp - Nagoya, JPN
May 28 - Zepp - Osaka, JPN
May 29 - Zepp - Tokyo, JPN

Prior to the Japanese tour, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS will play a hometown show on May 20 at B&B in Halmstad, Sweden. An appearance at the Decibel 2000 festival in Bengtsfors, Sweden will follow on May 21.

Commented guitarist Michael Amott (also in ARCH ENEMY): "The new SPIRITUAL BEGGARS album, 'Demons', is out now on Toy's Factory Records in Japan and it is doing very well. I would like to thank everyone who has picked it up and hopefully you are enjoying it!

"Yes, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS will be playing live in Japan with DIO in late May! We are obviously very honored to get this opportunity and we are looking forward to playing Japan again with the SPIRITUAL BEGGARS — we had such a great time in 2003! And to play with DIO just makes it even better! Mr. Ronnie James Dio is of course a living legend — the master of the power voice in rock and metal… 'Nuff said!"

"I would also like to say that our management people at Sanctuary Artist Mgmt now have negotiated a great deal for SPIRITUAL BEGGARS in Europe — I'll be signing it in a few days! More news and details on stuff like release dates etc will be available very soon!"
